Star Wars Insider Examine App

My name is John Gore age 45 years. I have almost every 183 issues of Star Wars insider except maybe only 5. Insider and I go back a long time probably about 30 years when it was then called the Lucasfilm Fan Club. I am a very devoted fan of the magazine. I still own and have my issues dating back to 1988 when I was very interested in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I bought my first issue at a Comic Store and have been hooked ever since. I practically should own the Magazine. (Ha)!! Lol!! I have been written up a couple of times in the Fan Forum where subscribers could write in and comment. Please bring back the (Fan Forum). Love the Star Wars Insider.

So after a week of all of my purchases not restoring. Things began to work. Sometimes complaints are listened to and results occur. Well done.

I was a loyal subscriber. However, when they changed the app, I lost all of my issues. I followed all of their prompts to restore the issues and got a "success" notification. I guess they define success as "still no issues that I bought and paid for". Tried several times. Same message but no luck. When I contacted them the burden was put on me to prove I had a subscription. Really? To heck with them. I just unsubscribed.

Love the magazine, but really annoying when the app logs me out every few days, and undownloads any issue I had saved on my iPad.

I wanted to try this app to see the mag, so I downloaded the free #156 issue which I was excited to read. However, there's an extra page 13A that causes it to crash when viewing page 13 or 14. EVERY TIME. Fix the app and issues before charging this much.

Were do I start. This application does not work, look the newsstand that is were it runs and locks. I have a subscription to printed. The magazine is great when you receive it. My new subscription from November has not being received. Maybe the mailman likes Star Wars and is keeping it. Well try the application to at least see then and does not work.

This game is awesome!

Great app but you need to fix your Star Wars Insider Magazine app for the iPad , iPad Mini and iPhone. It does not work well with the recent iOS 7 update. Thank You.

I was not very happy about them offering no samples. I finally gave in and decided to risk a sample issue even though fearing it would be a low resolution rip-off and total disgrace. Thankfully it looks great though! It features very high quality scans of the magazine that take full advantage of iPad3 retina display. So, don't worry about the lack of samples, it is in full retina display resolution and looks great!

App keeps crashing when I try and purchase a subscription. Re-installing doesn't work

Yes you have to pay for each issue! What's the big deal?? I get every issue and I love it. I get to take it to work. Priceless.

I subscribe to the magazine as I like to have the physical magazine for my collection. Subscribers shouldn't have to pay twice to also read it digitally. One payment should get it in both mediums. I feel the same about books, movies and songs - one payment should get the buyer all formats.

App is awesome & yet 45 year old nerds still complain they got ripped off, probably cause they can't work this app. You got schooled by a kid nerds. There are free previews despite user reviews. Worth the $$$

Bait and switch scam improperly listed as free. People like this are ruining it for the other honest sellers. To the developers.. Shame on you for perpetrating this scam, will be reporting this to apple and Lucas Films today!

Just bought my 1st issue. Very nicely done magazine for Star Wars fans. There are no free issues but you can preview an entire issue by clicking on the magazine cover of the issue you are interested in. You can flip through the thumbnail pics of that issue. It is not big enough for you to read but you get an idea of the layout and contents of the issue. The app works well. I will be purchasing future issues.

That's all it is. Kind of them to let you download a method of paying for everything. That's all. The good news? I had no difficulty deleting it immediately. Greed makes the Jedi in me unhappy :-( Would give 0 stars if possible.

Why say this is free is beyond me. Get smart, give one sample issue so people can make an informed decision on to get more. As it it, the lure of making a purchase of your product is like blindly buying stuff off of eBay. Intelligent customers won't blindly buy, give us something to get excited about and earn some loyal customers. Fail

Could be a great one but unless you want to spend $5 don't download this app, if you like to see the images of the covers I wouldn't recommend it either.

Ok so Im a star wars geek so I was very excited for this app.Ok so here's the deal when I opened the app the thing CRASHED. Please people like me do not and I repeat do not get this app

I was afraid to download this, because I saw the reviews before I downloaded this thing. But I was angry when they had no free samples. As master yoda said, fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.

It is not free U can not test ride for free

They get you in with FREE right. Then you see the prices. Nothing's free. Plus now I cannot delete of newsstand. Very MISS LEADING App. Not recommend at all.

Download this great free app! (the geek inside had the giggles) To download at $13 an issue? (Sad geek now.) Don't even have the heart to make a Star Wars reference. Don't bother with this unless you want to pay full price for an e-version of the magazine.
